Twelve individuals from India have been identified as part of a significant criminal tourism network operating in Canada, according to local law enforcement. Despite holding legal visas that permit their entry and stay in the country, these individuals allegedly traveled to Canada with the intent to engage in criminal activities rather than for educational or employment purposes. The Durham Regional Police conducted a major operation that led to the arrest of a total of 46 suspects linked to this network. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the broader implications of this criminal activity.
