Telecommunications operators in Nigeria have announced a commitment to invest N1.86 trillion in service expansion and network upgrades. This investment follows a reported expenditure of N2.13 trillion in 2025, aimed at enhancing the quality and reach of telecommunications services across the country. The operators have also expressed concerns regarding the accuracy of foreign direct investment (FDI) flow data, suggesting that it may not accurately reflect the sector's growth and contributions.
