The Kebbi State Government has officially extended the mandatory retirement age for medical and veterinary doctors within the state civil service to 65 years. This decision was announced by Governor Nasir Idris during an Executive Council meeting. The information was subsequently communicated to the public by Auwal Manu Dogondaji, the Commissioner for Establishment, Pension, and Training. This policy change aims to retain experienced professionals in the healthcare sector for a longer period.
