This statement was made during a meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, with the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive of United Bank for Africa (UBA). In addition to addressing financial security concerns, the COAS also secured a partnership with UBA aimed at providing housing solutions for military personnel. This initiative is expected to support the welfare of troops while reinforcing the army's operational capabilities.
