The Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, has announced that the country's grid infrastructure capacity has now reached 8,700 megawatts (MW). This new capacity surpasses the previous record peak delivery of 5,801.84 MW. The achievement is attributed to ongoing efforts to expand and enhance the grid infrastructure across Nigeria, aimed at improving electricity distribution and reliability.
