President Bola Tinubu has established a Presidential Task Force to address the potential threat of Ebola in Nigeria, appointing Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, as its chair. The task force will comprise members from relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), along with representatives from various states to ensure a coordinated response. In addition, the President has approved a budget of ₦10 billion to enhance the country's preparedness against any possible outbreak of the virus.
