Witnesses reported that Dr. Afolabi suddenly cried out in distress, prompting immediate concern among fellow candidates and officials present. He was swiftly transported to the university's health centre for urgent medical care; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival by medical personnel. The unexpected nature of his death has left the university community in shock, and as of now, the university management has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
