The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), in collaboration with the Global Anti-Human Trafficking Organisation (GAHTO), successfully rescued seven Nigerian girls who had been trafficked to Mali, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire. These individuals were reportedly lured with false promises of legitimate employment opportunities. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and protect vulnerable populations from exploitation. Further investigations are expected to follow to address the networks involved in this trafficking case.
