TCN: Nigeria’s grid can wheel 8,700MW, highest power delivered still 5,801MW

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Engineer Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, announced that the country's transmission network has the capability to handle up to 8,700 megawatts of electricity. Despite this capacity, the highest amount of power that has been generated and successfully delivered to the national grid remains at 5,801 megawatts.
