Edo shuts schools after threats

The Edo State Government has taken precautionary measures by ordering the closure of three secondary schools located in the Akoko-Edo Local Government Area. This decision follows intelligence reports indicating a potential kidnap threat targeting students. The directive was communicated through a circular issued by the State Ministry of Education, which was signed by the Permanent Secretary, Enodolomwanyi Otamere.
