The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has once again brought charges against Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, for an alleged fraud amounting to N13,000,000. The arraignment took place on June 10, 2026, before Justice Yelim Bogoro at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos. The EFCC has filed a six-count charge against her, which includes accusations of obtaining money under false pretenses and retaining the proceeds from donations made by individuals and organizations, such as the Nigeria Cancer Society. These donations were reportedly solicited through social media posts in which she claimed to be suffering from Stage 4 breast cancer, a claim that was later found to be based on falsified documentation.
