Findings from a comprehensive four-year implementation research project have outlined strategies for the increased adoption of the Hormonal Intrauterine Device (HIUD) in Nigeria, aiming to enhance contraceptive options available to women across the country. These findings were shared during a dissemination meeting held on Wednesday in Abuja, which focused on the Research on Scale-Up of the Hormonal IUD in New and Emerging Markets (SHINE) Project. The study emphasizes the importance of expanding access to this contraceptive method as part of broader reproductive health initiatives.
