The African Development Bank (AfDB) has announced a financial commitment of $86 million towards the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Programme in Nigeria, as of March 31. The bank reported that the programme has achieved a commitment rate of 41 percent, with a disbursement rate of 12 percent, which translates to $25 million disbursed thus far. This initiative aims to enhance agro-processing capabilities and boost agricultural productivity within the country.
