The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has reported that the Dangote Refinery has played a crucial role in stabilizing fuel supply across the country. This stabilization has effectively prevented petrol prices from soaring to as high as N6,000 per litre. The association highlighted that the refinery's operations have contributed to a more consistent availability of fuel, thereby mitigating potential price hikes in the market.
