The Federal Government of Nigeria has successfully finalized an agreement with the Government of Ethiopia to facilitate the transfer of over 100 Nigerian prisoners who are currently incarcerated in Ethiopian correctional facilities. This arrangement was announced by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, during her visit to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The agreement aims to repatriate these individuals to Nigeria, where they will serve the remainder of their sentences.
