The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that governorship aspirants expended approximately N30 billion on primary elections in preparation for the 2027 general elections. In a bid to enhance the integrity of the electoral process, the EFCC plans to utilize drones and other technological tools for improved election monitoring. This initiative aims to ensure transparency and accountability during the upcoming elections, reflecting the commission's commitment to combating electoral malpractices.
