The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that only the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) will participate in the upcoming bye-election for the Zuru Constituency seat in the Kebbi State House of Assembly. The election is scheduled to take place on June 20, 2026. This decision was communicated during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Birnin Kebbi, where Kebbi State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Abubakar Dambo, provided further details regarding the electoral process and preparations.
