Adams Oshiomhole, the lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial District, has criticized the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), labeling it a "house of thieves." His remarks followed allegations made by Umar Aliya, the former Chief Financial Officer of NNPCL, during a session of the Senate Public Accounts Committee. The committee is currently investigating claims of misappropriation of funds amounting to trillions of naira, which includes accusations regarding the employment of officials' children within the company.
