Operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit apprehended four individuals suspected of fraud in Asaba, Delta State, on June 9, 2026. The suspects, identified as Joshua Nwaosa, Daniel Arhewe, Prince Chukwuma, and John Egwuba, were found in possession of counterfeit US dollars totaling $1,600. The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrests and the recovery of the fake currency, highlighting the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat fraud in the region.
