Umar Ajiya, the former Chief Financial Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has called on the Federal Government to take decisive action against individuals involved in the alleged embezzlement of funds from the company. During his address to the Senate, Ajiya highlighted claims that approximately N210 trillion is unaccounted for within NNPCL's financial records. He emphasized the need for accountability and urged the government to ensure that those responsible for the theft are apprehended and prosecuted to uphold financial integrity within the organization.
