MTN Nigeria has pledged to provide financial support and airtime to Nigerians returning from South Africa following recent xenophobic incidents. This announcement coincided with the arrival of the first group of 258 returnees at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, who were evacuated on a chartered Air Peace flight. Additionally, the Imo State government has promised to grant each returning indigene N1 million as part of its support efforts. These initiatives aim to assist the returnees as they reintegrate into their communities.
