Rural women in the Great Sheda Community of Kwali Area Council, Abuja, have been empowered economically with the inauguration of a modern agro-processing centre. This initiative, supported by UN Women and the TY Danjuma Foundation, aims to enhance the livelihoods of women in the area by providing them with access to essential resources and training in agro-processing techniques. The centre is expected to facilitate increased productivity and income generation for the women, thereby contributing to the overall development of the community.
