The Borno State Government has successfully reintegrated a total of 3,762 individuals, comprising 720 men, 992 spouses, and 2,050 children, into their communities following a comprehensive deradicalisation program. These individuals had previously surrendered to military forces and have undergone vocational training and an oath-taking ceremony as part of their reintegration process. The initiative aims to promote peace and stability in the region by providing support and opportunities for former insurgents and their families. The government continues to emphasize the importance of community acceptance and support in the reintegration efforts.
