A 300-level student at Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in Anyigba, Kogi State, identified as David Ocholi Solomon, was shot and killed on campus during the Final Year Brethren (FYB) celebrations on Thursday night. Reports indicate that the incident occurred when a group of students, suspected to be affiliated with a cult, entered the celebration and caused a disturbance. The university community has been left in shock following the tragic event, which has raised concerns about security on campus. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
