The groups involved, including the Osun Civil Society Coalition (OCSC), Take It Back movement, Coalition Against Insecurity and Bad Governance, and FIWON, gathered in the Ayetoro area of the state capital. During the demonstration, they called for the immediate release of teachers and students abducted in Oyo State, emphasizing the urgent need for improved security measures in the region. The protest aimed to raise awareness about the ongoing challenges posed by insecurity and to demand accountability from the authorities.
