Chief Daniel Chega, the District Head of Miango in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, has formally requested President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to facilitate the disbursement of compensation funds related to land appropriated in 1972. This land was taken for the establishment of the Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, which serves as the headquarters for the Nigerian Army's 3 Armoured Division in Jos. Chega emphasized the importance of this compensation for the affected landowners and the community's welfare.
