The Borno State Government has successfully reintegrated 720 former Boko Haram fighters into their communities after they completed a comprehensive rehabilitation and deradicalisation programme. This initiative is part of the state's efforts to support the transition of these individuals back into civilian life. In addition to the former fighters, the programme also included 992 women and 2,050 children associated with the ex-insurgents, resulting in a total of 3,762 beneficiaries. Authorities emphasized the importance of this exercise in promoting peace and stability in the region.
