Borno reintegrates 720 repentant insurgents, over 3000 family members

The Borno State government has completed the reintegration process for 720 individuals identified as repentant members of Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). Alongside these insurgents, a total of 3,042 family members, which includes spouses and children, have also been welcomed back into their communities. This initiative aims to facilitate the rehabilitation and reintegration of former combatants and their families into society, promoting peace and stability in the region. The move reflects ongoing efforts by the state to address the challenges posed by insurgency and foster a sense of normalcy in affected areas.
