Court Acquits Former Ekiti SUG President, One Other Of Illegal Assembly Allegation

A Chief Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti has officially discharged and acquitted Ibitola Babatope, the former president of the Students’ Union Government at Ekiti State University, along with Boluwaji Isola, the president of Moba Students Union. The court found them not guilty of charges related to unlawful assembly, which were alleged to be connected to cultism activities. The ruling comes after a thorough examination of the evidence presented during the trial. Both individuals have maintained their innocence throughout the proceedings.
