Uganda has criticized the air travel restrictions imposed on it in response to the recent Ebola outbreak. The country's handling of the situation has received commendation from public health officials, noting that there have been only two fatalities among 19 confirmed cases since the outbreak was first reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo in mid-May. Uganda's government argues that the restrictions are unjustified given their effective management of the health crisis.
