Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have uncovered the body of a man bearing machete wounds in the Torok community, located within the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The discovery was confirmed by Captain Polycarp Oteh, the spokesman for the security outfit, in a statement released on Friday. The remains were found by troops from Sector 6 of OPEP, who are actively engaged in maintaining security in the region. Further investigations are expected to follow as authorities seek to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
