Borno reintegrates 3,740 repentant Boko Haram members into society

The Borno government has successfully reintegrated 3,740 individuals who were formerly affiliated with Boko Haram into society, as part of its established reintegration model policy. The announcement was made by Brigadier General Abdullahi Ishaq (retired), who serves as the Special Adviser on security to Governor Babagana Zulum, during a ceremony held in Maiduguri. This initiative aims to facilitate the transition of these individuals back into the community, promoting peace and stability in the region. The event was covered by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), highlighting the ongoing efforts to address the challenges posed by insurgency in Borno State.
