The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to achieving food sovereignty in Nigeria. This announcement coincides with the recent distribution of 80,640 bags of fertiliser to 20,160 smallholder farmers in the South-West zone, facilitated by the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF). During the launch of this initiative, NADF Executive Secretary, Mohammed Abu Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of supporting local farmers to enhance agricultural productivity and ensure food security across the nation.
