The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), expressed concern over the lack of a national database, which he believes hampers the effectiveness of security agencies in tracking criminals. During a recent statement in Abuja, he highlighted that the Nigerian Police and other security forces are resorting to extraordinary measures, which he referred to as "performing magic," to identify and apprehend offenders. The Minister emphasized the critical need for a comprehensive national database to enhance the capabilities of law enforcement in combating crime effectively.
