Ogun police arrest driver, guarantor for vehicle theft, foil smuggling attempt

Operatives from the Idiroko Division of the Ogun State Police Command successfully thwarted a cross-border vehicle trafficking attempt, leading to the arrest of two individuals. The suspects, identified as Seun Lawal, aged 46, and Ademola Oriyomi, aged 38, were apprehended on Friday in connection with the theft of a 28-seater Toyota Coaster bus belonging to a company. The police recovered the stolen vehicle during the operation, which highlights ongoing efforts to combat vehicle theft and smuggling in the region. A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer provided further details on the arrests and the recovered vehicle.
