The Kebbi State Police Command has officially refuted circulating rumours regarding the closure of schools in the state due to insecurity concerns. In a statement released on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi, the command's spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, characterized these reports as untrue. He emphasized that there have been no directives to close schools, nor have there been confirmed incidents of kidnappings or mass withdrawals of students from educational institutions. The police urged the public to disregard such misinformation and remain vigilant.
