Kidnapped Retired General Laid to Rest In Katsina

Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd) was laid to rest in Katsina following his abduction by bandits on May 30, alongside his wife, on the Marabar Musawa–Kafinsoli road in Matazu Local Government Area. His burial took place two weeks after the kidnapping, in accordance with Islamic rites. The funeral service was attended by family members, friends, and military personnel, reflecting the respect held for the retired general within the community.
