FIFA, the Federation of International Football Associations, was established on May 21, 1904, in Paris, France, marking its 122nd anniversary this year. The organization was founded to oversee international football competitions and has had a series of presidents since its inception, beginning with Frenchman Robert Guérin, who held office from 1904 to 1906. Following Guérin, the presidency was passed to Daniel Burley Woolfall of England, who served from 1906 to 1918, and then to Jules Rimet of France, who led the organization from 1921 until 1954.
