Gunmen abduct Ondo village head, shoot wife

Unknown assailants attacked the residence of Adeniyi Adelana, the traditional ruler of Ode Oriya in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM when approximately six heavily armed gunmen invaded the community and targeted his home. During the attack, the gunmen abducted the village head and shot his wife, leaving the community in shock and fear. Local authorities have been notified, and investigations into the incident are currently underway.
