All 1,600 pilgrims from Lagos State who took part in the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have returned to Nigeria without incident, signifying the successful completion of the state's pilgrimage operations. The last group, consisting of 187 pilgrims, landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja on Saturday. This return marks the end of a well-organized pilgrimage season for the state, which ensured the safety and comfort of its pilgrims throughout the journey. The Lagos State government has expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for the pilgrims during their time in Saudi Arabia.
