President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Mark Okoye, the Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), on the occasion of his 40th birthday, which falls on June 15. This commendation comes at a time when the Senate is conducting a probe into the management of N16.6 billion by the commission. Prior to his role at the SEDC, Okoye held the position of Managing Director of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and served as a Special Adviser. The Senate's investigation into the commission's financial activities continues concurrently with the celebration of Okoye's milestone birthday.
