The Commissioner for Health in Plateau State, Dr. Nicholas Baamlong, reported that five individuals have died due to a cholera outbreak in the region. The confirmed and suspected cases have been identified in the Pushit, Mangu 1, and Mangu 2 communities within the Mangu Local Government Area. Health officials are currently addressing the situation to contain the outbreak and prevent further spread of the disease.
