Leaders from the Ijaw and Urhobo communities have issued new demands following President Bola Tinubu's intervention regarding the delineation of the Warri Federal Constituency. They referenced the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) report, released on May 20, which was in compliance with a Supreme Court order to conduct a fresh delineation. This process resulted in the establishment of 20 registration areas and electoral wards across the Warri North, Warri South, and Warri South-West Local Government Areas. The community leaders are seeking further engagement to address their concerns related to this recent electoral restructuring.
