The Federal Government has initiated the distribution of 80,640 bags of free fertiliser to support 20,160 smallholder farmers in the South-West geopolitical zone. This initiative, part of the Renewed Hope Farm Input Support Programme (FISP), was officially launched in Ado-Ekiti. The programme aims to enhance agricultural productivity, reduce production costs, and increase food output in preparation for the 2026 wet season. This intervention is expected to significantly benefit local farmers and contribute to food security in the region.
