The Federal Capital Territory Universal Basic Education Board (FCT UBEB) has launched a campaign aimed at promoting school greening and tree planting initiatives in primary and junior secondary schools throughout the Federal Capital Territory. The campaign was officially inaugurated on Monday at Junior Secondary School, Bako, located in the Kwali Area Council. During the inauguration, the acting Executive Chairman of the board, Mrs. Florence Wenegieme, outlined the objectives of the initiative, emphasizing the importance of environmental sustainability and the role of schools in fostering a greener future. The campaign is expected to engage students and staff in active participation in tree planting activities, contributing to the enhancement of the local environment.
