Kebbi, Oyo Declare Tuesday Islamic New Year Holiday

The Kebbi State government has officially declared Tuesday as a public holiday to mark the Islamic New Year, a decision made by Governor Nasir Idris on Monday in Birnin Kebbi. This announcement, which was communicated through a statement signed by Hafsat Tune, indicates that all government offices in the state will be closed on that day. Normal official activities are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, June 17. Similarly, Oyo State has also announced a holiday for the same occasion, allowing residents to partake in the celebrations.
