The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that 2,077 eligible Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) will be able to vote in the upcoming Ekiti governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026. This information was revealed by the INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Ado-Ekiti. He emphasized the commission's commitment to ensuring that all voters, including PWDs, have the opportunity to exercise their electoral rights in a fair and accessible manner.
