The assessment conducted by IMPACT Initiatives through its REACH Initiative provides a comprehensive overview of the experiences and needs of Ukrainian refugees residing in Moldova. The study, which took place between August 25 and October 3, 2025, involved 321 adult refugees participating in surveys across various locations, including Chisinau, and included both beneficiaries of humanitarian aid and non-beneficiaries. The findings highlight the perceptions of fairness and relevance of the assistance received, the involvement of refugees in decision-making processes, and the effectiveness of feedback mechanisms employed by humanitarian organizations. Additionally, the assessment gathered qualitative insights through interviews with 14 refugees and 9 humanitarian workers, aiming to enhance future aid strategies and address integration needs for the refugee population in Moldova.
