Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced Bello Liman, also known as Alhaji Bello Doctor, to 30 years in prison after convicting him on two counts related to terrorism. The charges stem from incidents in 2020 in Zamfara State, where Liman concealed information that he was aware could assist in the activities of a terrorist organization. Additionally, an informant linked to Liman's case received a 15-year prison sentence for their involvement. The sentences reflect the court's commitment to addressing terrorism-related offenses in Nigeria.
