According to a statement issued by the state Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, the operation will focus on apprehending and impounding vehicles that are either unregistered or display faded, defaced, or covered number plates. This enforcement action is part of the command's efforts to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with traffic laws across the state. The operation is set to commence immediately, with police officers deployed to various locations to carry out the checks.
